Going to medical appointments can be overwhelming for children with Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB). To help make these visits easier, debra of America is proud to offer a customizable social story designed to support children with EB in preparing for doctor visits and EB Clinic appointments.

Our EB Doctor's Guide for Kids, also known as a social story, is a simple, supportive tool designed to help children understand and navigate unfamiliar situations. Using short, clear sentences and comforting visuals, it breaks down the steps of an experience—like visiting the doctor—so children feel more comfortable and prepared.

This EB Social Story was written by Laura Dellicker, MSW, LCSW for her son, and generously shared with the EB Community as an educational guide to help other parents prepare their children for common EB medical visits.
